A word from Father Michael

Dear friends, have a nice day! Our Church is still close to all. I know that we are going through a bit of an uncomfortable situation now that we have been forced to stay at home, but I am sure we have many things to do that we have long waited for, such as reading, etc. With all that we have before us, let’s take care to sit on our own to think, so that we may find ourself. A Roman Emperor philosopher Marcus Aurelius writes in his memoirs: “Dig within yourself; in you is the source  of good and it will always pour out if you always look for it.” This means that we have to find it by ourselves to make ourselves aware of our mistakes towards our family members, to those around us and even to ourselves. We should try to meet our God with our prayer. We should not to let anxiety, fear, and panic restrict us. We have God-given alternatives. Let our faith and prayer be unlimited.

My friends, every day in our “closed” Church, which remains open in our prayers, the priest lights a candle and the incense for all of us and for each of us individually. Let us all remain strong and praying to God, invoking the help and understanding of our Lady the Theotokos and all the saints. Amen.
